My wife and I had a most pleasant experience with Standard Restoration of Boise. About two months ago we had an accidental bathroom sink overflow that flooded the floor. After we cleaned up the mess everything looked good with no signs of damage. Two weeks after, however we noticed a musky odor coming from the flooded area. I communicated with Standard restoration and spoke with Drew McCullar, a Project Manager. We made an appointment with him for a mold and moisture inspection on the same day. Drew was right on time and he immediately impressed us with his friendly outgoing personality. He walked us through every step of his inspection explaining everything he was doing and the functions of his equipment. He inspected the floor, the cabinet floor and removed a drawer to access and inspect an isolated area. He then went into the crawl space to inspect the floor thoroughly from underneath. He was quick, very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. He advised us that the tests showed no moisture but he was concerned about the odor. He then recommended a 24 hour Dehumidifier service to attempt to resolve the odor problem. This idea worked and the odor problem was resolved. His outstanding customer service, knowledge, experience, professional conduct and willingness to go the extra step to insure his customers are presented with the least costly solutions are commendable traits and a great credit to himself and the company. The friendly and professional team around him was comprised of Maxine Mecham, Chris Stokes, Abe and Gabe. They came to install and remove the equipment. They are also to be commended for their outstanding customer support, professionalism and friendliness. We strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for customer oriented, affordable thorough and professional restoration Services.
I had the opportunity to meet Shane and learn more about Standard Restoration. What stood out to me was his genuine focus on doing what's best for the customer, not simply what's best for the company. Shane takes a thoughtful, long-term approach and clearly values communication, integrity, and service. It's refreshing to meet someone who is focused on building relationships and helping people navigate difficult situations with honesty and professionalism. Based on our conversation, it's clear he cares deeply about his clients and the community he serves.
Do not use this company. Most disorganized experience I have ever had. Tenants were left without a toilet for 10 days when they were promised it would be put back the next day. An entire room was left off the estimate for our insurance and it was blamed on the tenant. It took them 2 months to complete a simple bathroom repair and communication was garbage all the way through.
It’s not easy for me to do this as I am not someone that posts anything. But I couldn’t keep quiet as I am sure a lot of people like myself don’t trust a lot of home repair companies. Standard Restoration has been exceptional on their core values, customer service and they are a company of integrity. I unfortunately cannot say that for a lot. Their work says it all. They have empathy for what you are going through and their follow up is amazing. They have obtained from me a customer for life. One of the things that I appreciate it so much was the way they talked to me and made me feel like they were here for me and not for the dollars in their pockets. The workers that came into my home, Jack & Hope were so nice and respectful of my home and Damian just so professional. If you guys are wanting someone with core values and an exceptional work done. You will find it in Standard Restoration. I was raised by hardworking old fashioned Mexican parents, so I know what it looks like and they are it.
