These guys! These young men from start to finish are outstanding. Professionals. Knowledgeable and helpful. Onset I was told what could possibly be quite the kitchen redo after the flood. Came in with minimal floor replacing once evaluated. Honosty and compassion every step of the way. Thank you!

WARNING TO ALL My experience with Southeast Restoration Group (SRG) was extremely disappointing and I have concluded that they are in deceptive practices, poor workmanship deliberately against manufacturer/industry standards, and warrant investigation for fraud. A $multi-mil profit a year Christian company refuses to admit wrong and wont give up money they didnt earn. Pennies to them. Huge difference to us and just trying to afford to put our house back together. At the start (march '26), I had recently had pantry and kitchen area flooring (roughly 200 sqft) removed, dry wall, and cabinets. Insurance and I both wanted to just put back the same flooring in that small space. However, SRG told to me that "the original flooring was no longer available". Based on that information, the project moved away from replacing the damaged areas with the existing flooring and expanded into replacing the entire first floor's 1,100 sqft. In July, I called the builder, Trust Homes, and asked if they knew what floors were put in to my house. They responded in an hour and told me the exact floors. They were available online through multiple distributors. The fact that the flooring was available contradicts the information I was provided at the time and raises serious concerns about the accuracy of the statements made regarding the flooring. Whether this was a lack of due diligence or something more concerning, the result was the same: I made major decisions about my project based on information that later proved to be false. This now made the project roughly 5-6x more money which increases their profits. After floor demo, it was identified that the floor needed some leveling. SRG submitted a claim for heavy leveling. It was approved maybe 5 days later but not for the amount they wanted. They had already sent their crews off on other jobs and they werent available for another two weeks. They didnt tell me this though. They continued to say crews would be at my home ASAP once paperwork with USAA was good. They lied because the paperwork was good and the crews werent available. So I took off work for weeks thinking guys were showing up the next day. When crews finally showed up, they didnt have a single piece of equipment or material to do leveling. The crews said, no we are not doing leveling. They initially told me they asked for $6,500. However, they now say they asked for $10.7K. Would you do a claim for require work before anything else could continue, then show up with no intention to do any of it. Oh, by the way, their site manager told me directly they would just add on to the supplemental claims with things they arent going to do, in order to inflate the total amount of insurance money, to cover the cost of the leveling. That manager was fired a couple weeks later. However, they still had a severely inflated quote. I know because I had multiple other contractors and installers give me quotes of $1,000-$3,500 to do the leveling that they said would cost $10,700. Eventually, they said they wanted to level and lay as they go. That boards could be put down an hour after leveling was poured. The bags they finally brought over said on them, "required curing time, minimum 24 hours". So they were intentionally going to go against installation standards for leveling and laying of floors, voiding all warranties. At this point, the LPV flooring supplied by Georgia Flooring (one of their partners), was determined to all be bowed. So it had to be replaced. In the mean time, I asked them to do all the necessary leveling and floor prep, while we wait on the new flooring to show. SRG REFUSED. In the end, they stopped working, refused to continue, refused to provide me with all the paperwork for the job to date, didnt provide a new crew, didnt order supplies, and told the current crew to not go to my home again. I had to terminate them. In the end, they held onto 12K they didnt earn and refused to pay it back without me removing all review/complaints. Since I got a lawyer, they have raised it because of the evidence and threat of lawsuit.

Southeast Restoration was positively one of the most professional, reliable, thorough, and pleasant business experiences I’ve had in quite some time! Everyone was dedicated to what they were doing and diligent in mitigating our water damage event. We had an AC unit mishap that sent lots of water from the attic through one bedroom ceiling on the second floor through the flooring to the downstairs ceiling, through that ceiling and onto the bottom floor. From the time they were called they quickly dispatched to the job in just a matter of a couple of hours. They greatly helped ease our concerns by being laser focused on tackling the problem head-on, by communicating with us about everything they were doing and why, and answering all our questions. It felt like they were fighting for us. They exude trustworthiness and integrity in all they do, and that is refreshing! They are so thorough you can count on them to find all the moisture and damage issues and to quickly resolve them. Many thanks to Grant, Aaron, Doug, Charles, and Ben! From the very beginning, Southeastern Restoration exceeded my expectations. Within two hours of my insurance company contacting them, they had a team at my home ready to begin the mitigation process. That kind of responsiveness gave me confidence right away. Grant, Aaron, and Doug were the first to arrive. We quickly found that we had things in common, and they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable trusting them with both my home and everything inside it. As the project continued, Charles and Ben also became part of the team. Every person I met was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the mitigation process as well as how Southeastern Restoration operates as a company. I especially appreciated their company’s values, which aligned well with my biblical worldview. That meant a great deal to me. The entire team worked quickly and thoroughly to dry out the water damage and prevent any further damage or mold growth. They were efficient, respectful of my home, and communicated well throughout the process. It’s not often that you find a company that combines excellence in their work with genuine integrity and compassion. Southeastern Restoration did exactly that. I never had to worry about my home or my belongings because I knew they were in trustworthy hands. I highly recommend Southeastern Restoration to anyone who needs water mitigation or restoration services. They responded quickly, treated us with kindness and respect, and did an outstanding job from start to finish.
