SKY Restoration DKI

After our water heater sprung a leak. We called DKI to come to our rescue. The gentlemen that came out were very professional and courteous. They took their time to ensure no moisture was missed. Once they located all the water they got to work. They ripped out our flooring and got us set up with air movers and dehumidifier’s. It took most of the weekend but they got us dried out. They helped make our disaster less stressful. Thank you DKI and Sky Restoration for all your hard work!

The demolition phase has been great! I had water damage from a water heater. I called and they came the same day. Employees are very friendly, and worked really hard to get the job done. I would highly recommend them.

You know sometimes when a company ACTUALLY does what they say it's going to do it surprises me, no it shocks me!! Sky Restoration was so prompt and professional my wife and I almost felt like it couldn't be real. During a time of great loss and hardship these guys came in a took so much worry off our plate. They were a very welcome boost of fresh air. They somehow made us feel important and that we were their only customers. Presenting themselves this way wasn't an act it was genuine. We are extremely pleased with Sky Restoration!! We hope we NEVER have to call them again(haha), but if something happens they will get the call for sure!! Thank you Sky Restoration!!!

The WORST experience we’ve been through with any company. We had heard good things about DKI so we thought going through them would be a smooth process. Nothing was smooth. We had water damage in our kitchen. Flooring, half of our lower cabinets, countertops, two sinks, dishwasher, washer and dryer all had to be moved out. After mitigation we were forgotten about. We lived without a functioning kitchen and laundry room for two months before we were able to get anyone back in for repairs. The subcontractor (handyman) DKI used reinstalled our cabinets wrong. They aren’t level. They installed the faucet backwards which led us to find they broke our granite countertops, installed them broken, and did not admit to it. Then we had to work through getting the countertops replaced by a professional. The dishwasher was just set in, not mounted, not level and was not wired correctly. Five months after getting started with DKI I terminated further work because we couldn’t trust what was being done. Hired a professional to install the new backsplash who took it upon himself to try and level the cabinets so that his work didn’t look bad. I wrote a letter to the owner expressing our disappointment with how our house and project were treated. Did he respond? No. Hired a licensed plumber to come check the dishwasher. They were the ones to find the dishwasher wasn’t wired correctly and found “shark bites” were used and said this most likely would’ve resulted in them popping off from the water pressure and could’ve flooded our house if we weren’t home. We scheduled an appointment to meet with the owner to address our concerns. At that time he was apologetic and agreed our project was not handled well. He wanted to reconcile with the plumber we used and agreed to take care of the balance we incurred with them. Shortly after I received an email stating they would not take care of the balance after all. I returned to their office to discuss this and during that conversation his statements and implications were very rude. I told our insurance company about our experience and they said other clients had also reported being unsatisfied.
