"Everything that could have gone wrong with this project went wrong"; exact words of Noel Dominguez. There was no supervision, resulting in lengthy delays and additional damages that ServPro refused to fix. The entire project was supposed to take one week but due to subpar work, little or no supervision, and lack of proper monitoring, the project took an additional 5 weeks. Noel kept saying the work would be done by the first Friday, by the next Friday, on and on, and each time he failed to have the work completed by the deadlines. The work was so subpar that the mold inspection failed, not just once but twice. The drying equipment was left on way too long with no monitoring, resulting in the closet frame separating from the wall, bubbling on the ceiling and walls and in bathroom; and grouting was poorly done. Three of their men entered my home illegally, without authorization or consent. To make matters worse, Noel was not even aware of his men entering on a Sunday. It was a very scary experience. Noel promised me that all the repairs would be completed properly and fully, that the workers would come back as many times as they needed to fulfill the contract. Unfortunately he did not live up to his word. His inability to supervise and follow through made my living situation very difficult, I was left without a home, no place to live because they kept changing their minds. It was a huge struggle for me to keep finding places for the night, and to make a terrible story short, I was basically living out of my car. The workers left a terrible mess, a very dirty place, and desecrated my bathrooms, using them without my consent. They were also going in and out of my back patio without consent. The AC unit was not installed properly and not functioning, which was one of many issues Noel did not disclose. When I asked him about it, he said he would never bring those plumbers back but then he did. When I confronted him and Sergio about the additional damages caused by their men, they sent a housecleaner to clean the place, they fixed the closet frame that had separated from the wall, but they refused to fix all the other damages. On Sept 3, 2024, the owner, Sergio, decided to call the project quits. He would not even enter the premises to inspect the remaining repairs in front of a witness. Every time I tried to talk to him, he would talk louder, over me, and refused to even let me utter a word. He then thrust his bill at me, threatening to take me to court to pay his charges when he, himself, refused to honor his part and complete the repairs, which was highly unethical and unprofessional. He had already received all other payments with the final payment to be submitted after all the repairs were completed satisfactorily. Also I had asked repeatedly for documentation of dates, who entered, who did what and what was not done, licenses of each of the workers, etc. Sergio and Noel still have failed to provide that documentation after more than a month of asking, which is very concerning. I have no idea if the workers on this project were qualified to do the work and if quality work was actually fulfilled on the different stages of the mitigation, mold treatment, and rebuild. I was forced to find someone else who is willing to do the remaining repairs and Sergio accepted responsibility by deducting the cost for these repairs from the final invoice but I should not have had to find an outside repair person when this company should have fullfilled their part of the contract and fixed all the repairs. This list is endless.

Noel Dominguez provided me with sketches and measurements, in a timely manner, that were in compliance with what my HOA Board requested. He was in constant communication with me and my realtor and was always very professional. I highly recommend him!

Noel and his team did a great job for us! They turned a kitchen disaster (water leak) into an opportunity to clean and refreshen everything. I was impressed with the thoroughness in the whole process. Noel and the person who took our call were very friendly, upbeat and took care of our problem quickly. Thank you SERVPRO! I highly recommend them.

About SERVPRO of Santa Fe

SERVPRO of Santa Fe serves homeowners and property managers in Santa Fe, New Mexico from its location at 1119 Cll Del Cielo. The company concentrates on water damage restoration and fire damage restoration, and is listed on Google with a 4.5 rating based on 23 reviews. That profile reflects how local customers experience the business, and it provides a quick snapshot for anyone seeking help after an emergency.

The team is available around the clock for emergency response, with business hours listed as open 24 hours every day. This continuous availability is intended to support fast action when water intrudes after a leak or storm, or when fire and smoke create an urgent need for mitigation. Quick response can limit secondary damage, and having a provider reachable at any hour can make a difference during a disruption to daily life.

Water damage restoration for Santa Fe properties generally begins with emergency mitigation to stop ongoing leaks and limit further spread. Typical on-site work includes water removal, structural drying and dehumidification, and the removal of damaged materials when necessary. These steps are followed by efforts to restore affected areas and to protect adjacent spaces from moisture migration. For homeowners, those services are aimed at stabilizing living spaces, addressing health risks associated with damp conditions, and preparing structures for any follow-up repairs.

Fire damage restoration emphasizes removal of soot, smoke residues and odors, along with stabilization of the property after fire-related damage. This work often involves cleaning and deodorizing affected surfaces, assessing and securing compromised areas, and treating contents that can be salvaged. For many property owners, the restoration process focuses first on making the home safe and habitable, then on returning finishes and belongings to a condition as close as possible to pre-loss, while coordinating the sequence of work in a way that minimizes disruption.

Customer feedback reflected in public reviews points to several recurring themes. Many customers note clear communication, professional conduct, and thoroughness in the restoration work, as well as responsiveness to emergency calls, including after-hours visits. At the same time, some reviews raise concerns about project supervision and timelines, noting that a small number of projects experienced delays. Prospective customers in Santa Fe may find it helpful to discuss expectations and scheduling early in the process to align on priorities and timing.

SERVPRO of Santa Fe positions itself as a local resource for emergency water and fire restoration needs, with 24/7 availability and a community reputation reflected in its online rating.
