Servpro came on the scene after quite a significant flood situation due to a faulty dishwasher where the water had leaked into our basement room. They came up with a plan which they communicated to us and went to work. We are now waiting for the reconstruction phase.
Wonderful professionals! Punctual and prompt, they are exceptionally patient and compassionate. So far they have exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to enjoying partnership with them in the future.
Signed contract and PAID one year ago and the work is still not completed. Poor communication. Shoddy work requiring multiple touch-ups. Won't even take calls to address issues.
I would like to note that Ashly from Servpro called immediately after getting my feedback. She definitely put things back on the right track. Much appreciated. 5 stars on the follow up!!.
My experience with SERVPRO was a mix of frustration and appreciation. The biggest challenge was the lack of communication and consistency throughout our water damage mitigation. Nearly every time someone came to our home, it was a different technician. Unfortunately, information about our repairs wasn't communicated from one tech to the next which led to confusion and unnecessary delays. We also lost valuable time because the technician working on our home was pulled off our job to respond to another emergency. No one notified us that when they left at lunch, they would not be returning, and we left our door unlocked. We came home expecting progress only to discover no one had returned. It was not until I called the office just before they closed- explaining that our insurance adjuster had stressed that our hardwoods needed immediate treatment to have the best chance of being saved- that someone was sent back to our house at 7pm that evening. We were expecting the technician who determined the required treatment and equipment, but instead it was someone else. He was very professional and courteous but had not been briefed on what needed to be done. He did the best he could with the equipment on hand. However, our floors were not treated within the time-frame recommended by our insurance adjuster. Luckily, our floors were not impacted by the delay. Communication continued to be an issue. We were told that over the weekend someone would be by to check on everything. He showed up Saturday morning and let us know he would be by at the same time on Sunday. However, that morning, no one showed up. We didn't receive a call until 6:30 that evening saying someone would be by first thing the next morning. After calling the office again and speaking with the mitigation manager, who was extremely apologetic for the lack of communication we experienced, we were told a crew would arrive later that afternoon, and thankfully, they did. While the communication and scheduling issues made an already stressful situation even more difficult, I do want to recognize the quality of the work itself. Once the crew (Josh and Ricky) was on site, they were outstanding. They were professional, courteous, and took the time to explain what would be done, why they were doing it, and what the next steps would be. The workmanship was superb. I also want to recognize the manager for stepping in and doing everything possible to make the experience end on a positive note. He listened to our concerns, took them seriously, and worked to make things right. The effort did not go unnoticed and is the reason we ultimately feel better about the outcome. I hope SERVPRO addresses the communication gaps between technicians, the office, and the homeowners, along with minimizing the number of techs assigned to a job. Better coordination and proactive updates would make a tremendous difference. The technicians clearly know their craft, the company just needs a better system to ensure customers receive the same level of professionalism in communication that they do in the actual work.

Water damage restoration work generally begins with a thorough inspection and moisture assessment to determine the extent of affected materials. Extraction of standing water, placement of drying equipment such as fans and dehumidifiers, and ongoing moisture monitoring are typical parts of the process. Attention to containment and drying helps reduce the chances of secondary damage, and team members work with property owners to prioritize salvageable items and to document conditions for any follow up that may be needed.
Fire damage restoration involves a different set of priorities, beginning with stabilization of the property, removal of charred materials as needed, and protection against further exposure to the elements. Smoke, soot, and odor removal are central tasks, along with cleaning and deodorization of surfaces and contents where possible. The goal is to restore the structure and items affected by fire and smoke in a careful, methodical manner while communicating progress to the property owner throughout the job.
SERVPRO of Greensboro North has earned a strong local reputation, reflected in a 4.7 Google rating from 416 customer reviews. Reviewers commonly highlight professionalism, thoroughness, and courteous crews who stay in contact during the restoration process.
