Shady, shady company. DO NOT USE! I called a company by a different name for leak detection in my plumbing. SERCLEAN showed up instead and claimed they could help me get insurance to cover this. Against my better judgement I allowed them access to my house. Big mistake. Three months later I have a denied insurance claim (this wasn't something they were ever going to cover), multiple holes in my walls, a bill for $8000 for these holes and some fans for a few days, and now they are trying to sue me to get me to pay. Learn from my mistake and DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE LIARS.

Update: 6/12/2026 BEWARE!!! The techs present themselves as knowledgeable, honest, very nice people, but a lot of shady practices and dishonesty is involved to try and max out insurance claims and obtain money from the homeowner for “extensive water damage,” that isn’t bad or non-existing and the destruction and demolition they perform is devastating. Background: A plumber with Hers & His Plumbing in Clarksville, TN fixed a leaking toilet and told me the leak had caused water damage and possible mold in the master bathroom. He referred and called SerClean to come and assess the water damage. The two techs Tyrice and Dylon came the next day, did moisture readings near the toilet and said it showed “major saturation” and water damage. We have a special needs foster son with respiratory issues and it was emphasized we needed to take care of this before it caused sickness and health hazards in the home. The “promises” started then that our “insurance would pay for these services” and then there’s an urgent need to start the process by signing the contract. We asked for an estimate for services but were told the “office handled that” and again told no worries insurance covers it and they’d walk us through filing it. What started as assessing “water damage” in the master bathroom, went through the wall into the kitchen, then to 3/4 of the kitchen and then to our guest bathroom spanning across the middle of our home. Every question about the process was met with reassurance that the “insurance would pay for it and not to worry.” Long story short, they put in a ton of dryers on top of the floors, then ripped out floors, walls, vanities and cabinets in the three rooms to “treat” the damage and sent a $20,000 invoice. The insurance company did NOT agree to pay $20,000 for these mitigation services. And insurance also did NOT cover the $35,000-$45,000 worth of damage to our home… our home remains destroyed and a construction nightmare. The kicker is SEVERAL experienced contractors and two restoration companies who came to our home assess and fix the demolition damage due to this “water damage” said they did NOT see indication of heavy water damage to the master bathroom where it supposedly began. These contractors have fixed hundreds of water damaged home and said the damage done was NOT necessary as there was no mold, damage to the subfloors, walls or interior structures. Basically, the toilet leak did not span across our home and warrant all of the demolition and destruction. I believe a lot of dishonesty and shady business practices are used by SerClean to obtain your business and “create” this insurance claim they promise will pay for their services. After they gain your trust, they take advantage of your situation and misrepresent damages to justify the amount of work and damage they do. The bill is outrageous and you are left to figure out how to put your home back together. Upon further research we are not the first this has happened to in Tennessee and Georgia, BEWARE!! Do NOT sign the contract. First REVIEW: Before leaving my home, I was asked to give a 5-star review and told the techs got paid $20-25 for every good review they got. They had been very responsive, nice, and I TRUSTED them so I gave the review below. This is before I realized how dishonest they’d actually been and what had occurred. My home is destroyed and our kitchen and restrooms are unusable due to SerClean’s lack of transparency and the way they conduct their business. ————- I had a great experience with SerClean. Dylon and Tyrice walked us through the entire process and made sure things ran smoothly. From the mitigation where we had floors and walls removed all the way to the insurance process they had great communication, timeliness, and professionalism. It was a stressful situation that was made bearable by the way they conducted business.

The SerClean team did a great job in my home. They were professional and courageous. Did not leave a mess when they left. I would hire them again. Great job!

Tyrice showed up at the time that was provided, and worked expeditiously on flooring removal, making sure the area was cleaned before finishing.
