Initially this was a very positive review, but I have to change it after a series of issues. Quantum hired a subcontractor who was NOT licensed or insured as a contractor to install a new window and as you can see from the photos, he offered to fix all of the round head screws that were unsightly in the faux ceiling they installed. He hit a water line and ruined the floors. No one responded for 24 hours and I wet vacced my own basement. Then after three months of excuses and run around, they still had not come back and put in new floors. At my wicks end, they then agreed to reimburse me for materials and cost of labor for re-hiring the original installer. Then after nearly another three months of waiting they still hadn’t reimbursed, after realizing the subcontractor they hired wasn’t insured and therefore there wasn’t a claim that he could make. I literally had to get an attorney and threaten to sue to get the $2,800 owed. The mold remediation was successful, but after months and months of stress, unreturned calls, excuses and drawn out fight to get the money owed, I cannot recommend them any longer.

Safeguard is the same as Quantum Restoration, same owner. A cautionary tale... My experience with Quantum Restoration after the job was completed has been quite frankly, a nightmare stemming from unsupervised, and unqualified workers. During the work in my basement, the crew failed to properly secure the chimney from underneath, within a few months this resulted in a catastrophic failure, and my chimney collapsed through the house into the basement. This alone has caused significant damage, stress, and safety concerns. Since then, communication, scheduling, and overall accountability have been incredibly frustrating. Getting clear answers or consistent follow-through has been nearly impossible. I was recently informed that they had to fire the entire crew and restart the work in three weeks, which only adds to the uncertainty. In addition, the company still has approximately $1,000 worth of my carpets that I’ve asked for at least a dozen times, and has left a large pile of debris and rubbish in my backyard. Due to the severity of the situation, I have had to consult legal counsel and have been advised on potential action under Massachusetts Chapter 93A. I strongly urge others to use caution when considering this company. My initial positive impression did not reflect the long-term quality, responsibility, or professionalism I expected.

Met with Quantum last year to have a water issue on our property taken care of. They were very thorough and impressed with their approach. We shelved the project at the time, but re-engaged with Quantum this year to move forward. We paid our deposit and they have been extremely dodgy and shady since. I just got off the phone with them and was told that they let go of ALL of their in-field personnel. I have no idea what is going on with them, as the person we were speaking with refused to provide details. They said they are taking a '2-3 week pause,' and can't provide a refund until after. I would 100% stay away from this company at least in the short term until things get figured out. I'm very concerned we won't see our deposit back.

I had three different contractors come in to investigate a leak into our building - all three offered different theories as to the leak and recommended opening up walls here and there to investigate. Nathan from Quantum came in, and within an hour he was able to use his water-detection-gizmo to trace the leak to the exact point of failure on the roof. If you've got a mystery to solve, these guys are light-years ahead of their competition in the use of technology to perform diagnostics and investigation, without tearing your home apart. Thanks Nathan!

This has been the most amazing experience. Nate and DeAndre Have both been amazing. Their attention to detail his second to none, and they have explained everything to us in great detail are moving in a very good pace to get the problem remediated as soon as possible, and have a solid plan to get us back whole again. I couldn’t be more happy to have found them
