RVA Restoration was fantastic. When our irrigation system leaked into our basement, ServPro was ready to tear up walls and flooring for an expensive price and no outlook on what it would cost to repair the damage. The local folks at RVA Restoration took the time to attempt a “dry in place” approach to preserve our home. They left equipment for 9 days, checking in frequently with moisture readings. Ultimately, our basement was dry without any need to tear up walls or flooring, and they only charged a fraction of what it would take just to tear into the house to dry it. We used RVA Restoration after a second floor washer overflowed, causing the floor to fall in. There was water damage on all 3 floors. They did the water mitigation and the reconstruction that followed. All the workmanship is excellent. The communication from the team: Joey, Jeff and Penny was very good. I can’t say enough about Joey and his professionalism. He was always responsive to questions and dependable. He made sure that everything was done well and is also the nicest guy. Our home is back in order now and I thank all involved!
Can’t say enough great things about everyone we’ve worked with! From getting things set up with Valerie, to Jack coming out and inspecting to Lee collecting and analyzing air samples…everything was SUPERB! For those who suspect mold or any air quality issues, I definitely recommend having this company take a look. We moved into an older home and have been curious about what’s in the air and what could be causing a musty smell! Got it figured out and feel so relieved! Extra kudos to Jack for taking extra time to talk with us about next steps and for being extremely thorough and thoughtful!
I’ve worked with RVA Restoration on several rental and personal properties recently. Jack has been the PM on many and is always able to get the estimates turned around quickly resulting in expedited scheduling. Derrick, Johel and Norman did an excellent job on our most recent project, limiting costs by taking the time to sample areas to determine what needed to be remediated vs. what the initial estimate had in scope. All in all, a great experience working with RVA Restoration!
Absolutely breath of fresh air. Wonderful company to work with. Jeff came out and did a very thorough inspection and made me feel comfortable after initially working with a different company that did a terrible job of mitigation and who I did not trust to do the rebuild of my home. Joey was extremely communicative and thorough, made sure I was satisfied with every decision i made, gave me a great idea of timeline and kept me updated through every single step of the process. I can’t express how much I appreciated this after working with a different company before that barely responded to me. My house looks amazing, looks like a totally different, modern place, and it was all within the price point of what my insurance covered for water damage. They did all the heavy lifting with my insurance company and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Joey was definitely the star of the project. Tara was extremely helpful as well and sent over every document needed in a timely fashion. Honestly, if you are in need of any repair, please choose RVA restoration, they will do right by you and are fair and reasonable.
