Revive Restoration

I do not recommend Revive Restoration. We called them to deal with a leak caused by a hailstorm recently. While they did come out the next day, and the two men who showed up were friendly and tried to be helpful. They delayed work saying they needed to run a test on our insulation. The company initially said they should have results the next day, that turned into two business days, then turned into they actually didn’t send in the sample, and it was going to be three weeks or we could have another company run the test. Furthermore, it would be three months before someone would be able to patch the ceiling. After they were unable to provide a quote for the work, along with how long they expected this repair to take, we decided to cancel the job with them. Two weeks later they bill us for $1500 after doing absolutely no work, citing the 6 days “renting” their dehumidifier, which they never disclosed they were charging us for or what the daily charge would be. In reality, it was their own delays that kept the machinery here that long. We immediately tried to communicate our surprise to this bill through two unreturned emails and two phone calls which took 4 days to be returned and happened to be the day the bill was due. We also requested a detailed itemized invoice and it was never provided. The returned phone call basically consisted of too bad, nothing we can do. Extremely disappointed and they will not be a company I ever work with again or recommend to a friend or neighbor.

Very pleased with the work Revive did for us. We had water damage in our house and Rod Israeli was our point person. He was always on top of everything, coordinated it all, and made it pretty seamless for us. definitley recommend.

I deeply regret trusting Revive Restoration with my home. It has been months of unnecessary time, money, and stress dealing with them. This is the first time I have felt the need to leave a 1 star review for any business. You may want to try SERVPRO instead, at least for water restoration. As other reviews mention, be absolutely sure to keep notes. Get their planned work in writing if possible. And if you have a puppy that gets baths, drill it into their heads that there are other sources of moisture in a bathroom before they do something stupid. I could write pages about what went wrong. I'll try to be brief. We found them tearing things out of our bathroom without talking to us. We told them to only remove contaminated material. They stopped work until the Project Manager could review it. It took a full week before we received any communication from him- a week of calling and emailing Revive with no response from the PM, while Revive was sending me reminders that the work was urgent. Our house was a mess from the in-progress work and the damage they did. We got other help instead. It took them 3 MONTHS to fix a simple billing error. They threatened a lien on our home before they could remove a work item that simply had not been done, with physical proof. 3 months of calls and emails trying to fix this. They say your payment is past due 2 days after you get the bill. They refused to remove charges for the work we did not approve. One of the many frustrations is that most of the people at Revive were polite and responsive. It seemed like the people managing the work did not care, were too busy to care, or were more concerned about avoiding liability. I don't know, but I sincerely hope you have better luck with whatever incident brought you here.

Our Revive crew was simply excellent. The project manager, Brian, was quick to respond, knowledgeable, and thorough in caring for our home. Our on site crew (Carson, Hector, and Thadius) was exceptionally professional, polite, and hard working. The whole crew checked in frequently to provide project updates and answer any questions we had. As an added bonus everyone was very friendly and kind. They went out of their way to make a stressful situation as seamless as possible. Revive’s quick response prevented further damage to our home. I would gladly work with them again and recommend they be your first call if you’re ever in need of restoration services. Thank you all so much!

Revive was a great company to work with start to finish. All of the workers that helped with the water mitigation and reconstruction were fantastic people and had great workmanship. We were very grateful to have Rod as our main point of contact throughout the process to keep things on schedule. The daily check-ins were great and he made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Would use them again in a heartbeat if need be.
