Restopros were fabulous!! They came very quickly after I called them, Caleb and John did a great job cleaning up and getting rid of the water damage. I used RestoPros of Pittsburgh to remove water damage from an ice dam/roof leak to my ceiling, walls and baseboards in my guest room. They even took care of all the paperwork with the Insurance Company of my HOA. Jerry, John and Michael handled the mitigation with care, professionalism and expertise. A home is the biggest investment one can make and I’m grateful that the work of RestoPro of Pittsburgh helped me to persevere the structure of my home, and especially my peace of mind. You don’t know how much water damage is hiding behind the walls until you see what is actually there. To have water damage removed safely and cleanly is what they do. I would definitely have them back again, if needed. Thank you Michael, John, and Jerry! Just don’t let them recommend Capstone Quality Services for your rebuild. Capstone cut corners and must be watched when work is being done. I found this out the hard way when they didn’t put insulation in my walls.

Our basement became wet when we turned on a hose bib that had, unbeknownst to us, burst sometime during the winter. We noticed wet carpeting in our game room after we watered some plants for the first time in the spring. RestoPros came and inspected the damage which included the basement wall and insulation, baseboard, carpet and padding, and some buckling of the hardwood flooring. The crew set up multiple high velocity fans after removing the wet insulation, carpet padding, drywall, and baseboard. They set down a fancy pad that is supposed to smooth out the cupped places in the hardwood floor and it did do the job after several days. The carpet was pulled back to allow for drying. They came every day for a week, taking moisture measurements in multiple places, emptying the five gallon bucket that filled daily with water, and photographing all of their efforts for the insurance company. The area that required the drying out time was carefully blocked off with heavy plastic sheeting and secure telescoping poles. All of the furniture was covered and protected with plastic during the week long monitoring. The crew was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and were ready to answer any questions or concerns that we had. They left our game room dry and clean, ready for the remediation crew to finish the job. All in all, a pleasant experience that could have been anything but. I would highly recommend RestoPros for any unforeseen damage to a home.
