It is my pleasure to provide a quick note of recommendation for Puro Clean. Your team has been an excellent contractor to have on our side for all things fire and water restoration related. Our experience with Puro Clean has been terrific. Puro Clean is a contractor that can keep up with our busy operations without slowing us down with the need for constant direction and oversight as has been our experience with previous contractors. Communication is quick, estimates arrive when promised, the scope of work is reasonably priced and the jobs get done on time. I highly recommend Puro Clean and encourage any business in need of provided services to engage your company. There are fewer things to concern ourselves with when Puro Clean is on the job, leaving our employees time to address more important matters.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Emergency Water Damage Restoration When our kitchen sink drain pipe burst inside the wall, our insurance company immediately dispatched PuroClean Emergency Restoration Services. From day one, their response was outstanding. The team quickly set up professional-grade heaters, blowers, and dehumidifiers throughout our kitchen and basement to properly dry out the affected flooring and wood structures. What impressed us most was their dedication to monitoring the drying process — they checked on the equipment and moisture levels nearly every day for an entire week. Thanks to their thorough approach and top-quality equipment, our floors and walls were completely dried. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Highly recommend PuroClean for anyone dealing with water damage. They turned what could have been a disaster into a manageable situation with excellent results.

Everyone I spoke with was helpful and knowledgeable. The work was done very efficiently. PuroClean helped make an otherwise very stressful situation easier to manage because of their service.

Horrible experience. I suggest not using PuroClean in Caseyville, IL We had a house fire and used PuroClean at the advice of our insurance agent; this was the biggest mistake we ever made We signed a contract with PuroClean to have our house reconstructed at a cost of $391,705.52. Following the demolition stage, PuroClean hired a separate lead contractor and we were told that is who we would go through during the reconstruction. We had a few upgrades made to our house at the time of reconstruction and coordinated this through the lead contractor. The total cost for the upgrades was not provided to us by PuroClean. We asked for these numbers and invoices but they failed to provide them to us. We were told “those were agreements you made with our contractor that did NOT involve us.” There were many, many items in the contract in which insurance funds were not used for the purposes stated in the contract ($59,914.48 in total). In addition, we paid for many items in the contract out of our pocket ($12,011.39.) We were told by the contractor that the plans provided by PuroClean did not include many of the things that would have brought our house back to pre-fire condition. During the demolition, PuroClean did not clean up the debris on the outside of our house at all. I had to go over at the end of each week and clean up insulation, nails, screws and charred wood and glass. Our pool liner and cover was damaged due to their negligence. PuroClean has refused to pay to have these replaced. We had nothing but problems from the beginning with PuroClean. Every time we were told they would start a specific phase it would be delayed by up to two weeks or more. They never worked a full week or even a full day at our home during the phases in which they had control (this is verified by our neighbors). When I asked different individuals, who were working on our home, why they would come late in the day or leave early or not show up at all, they always told me they had higher priority jobs that they were being pulled off our home to go to. The communication during this process was horrible. The owner/president, Paul Reiss, blamed us for any issues that occurred during the process. Not only were they unable to tell us how much the upgrades were, but they could not explain to us how over $70K worth of contract items were not paid for by insurance money. For us, PuroClean was unprofessional, not respectful, and they did not follow what they said they were going to do. They did not take responsibility for not being able to show how money was spent on our project. They showed no care or concern for us, the customer, or the stress they we were experiencing after a tragedy. Although I am blamed for the communication problems, they never reached out to me during all of this to see how things were going. I never heard from them unless I contacted them first. I would never recommend them for any type of restoration. PuroClean MIGHT be fine for a small project but, in my opinion, they do not have the ability to handle something larger. Photos show just SOME of the mess and damage caused by PuroClean which they refuse to address. Update 19 Jun 2024 - response to PuroClean. While I understand paying a balance, PuroClean could not tell me how $70,000 worth of items in the contract did not get used as stated in the contract. If I made agreements the LMR contractor, then those should not be part of what was paid by insurance. Insurance paid $380,000, contract was $391,000, $70,000 worth of items not done according to the contract. You tell me how I would owe anything. Not to mention PuroClean not taking responsibility for damage to my pool through their negligence. Puroclean mismanaged this project and they are trying to cover it up and they are not accepting any responsibility. Paul Reiss has now threatened us with a defamation lawsuit based on this review. I cannot express enough how unprofessional this business is and would NOT recommend using them.

Puro Clean was fantastic to work with. They showed up quickly, were professional, and even helped out with the insurance process. Would 100% use them again without hesitation.
