Pure Maintenance

Pure maintenance helped determine if we had mold and cleaned it out in one day. Pete and Marcus were professional, flexible and went out of their way to help us. I feel so much better knowing my toddler is not breathing in mold. We will be so much more healthier and rest better now!

We worked with Pete to evaluate our house (drafty basement, old musty house smell) and to put together a complete plan to fix the problem for good. Our plan included fixing attic/basement insulation with another contractor, installing an industrial dehumidifier, and performing mold mitigation (PM does the latter two). Pete walked through all the options, was incredibly professional, accountable, timely, and respectful the entire time. Our mold mitigation was done by Pete, Marcus, and Yusef and included scrubbing and sanding any areas where there was obvious mold, fogging the entire house with their vapor treatment, and applying additional anti-fungal treatment spray in our two bathrooms. After all was said and done, the work was high quality and at a price fitting that quality. In our opinion a job done right is worth the price, especially when it comes to the air you breathe. We're very happy that Pete and his crew did a thorough and professional job, and that the musty smell is gone. We absolutely recommend Pure Maintenance if you're struggling with indoor air quality issues due to mold growth and attached are a couple of pics of the fogging Pete sent during the treatment (you have to be out of the house during and for a few hours after it's done). If you are considering this treatment, you probably also want to look into getting any of your central air vents and ducts cleaned and your house inspected for faulty insulation in the attic and basement rim joists (see my other reviews for that contractor's info).
