We had a waterline rupture while we were sleeping in the middle of winter, leading to a total loss in our finished basement and replacement of flooring and trim as well as some cabinetry on our first floor. From the first call, Paul Davis was at our home within hours with a complete team that removed all the damaged carpeting and dried out what was left. From the team of professionals, starting with Donnie's mitigation team, we felt everyone was trying their level best to restore us promptly and professionally. Mark did a fantastic job estimating the damage then working with our insurance adjustor to agree on a final amount. I didn't have to make a single call to State Farm with questions about the process or totals, Mark worked it all out for me and answered all my questions. Then Danielle's team professionally packed all our belongings and hauled them to Paul Davis storage so the reconstruction could take place. Chris did a great job arranging and managing the work of all the sub contractors that did the reconstruction, and all did a great job. Danielle's team then returned all our belongings and within 10 weeks, we were back to whole again. I hope I never have to call them again, but in the event I have another loss like that, I'm certainly calling Paul Davis Inc. in Louisville.

Paul Davis Restoration showed up on Thanksgiving weekend to pump backed up sewer water out of our basement. The crews were polite, efficient, and professional with every aspect of returning our basement back to normal.

Installed hardwood flooring in my house directly on top of floor joists with no subfloor and no vapor barrier before I purchased it. This is a historic home which appeared to be fully renovated before I bought it. They knew that they installed the floor incorrectly but refused to take any responsibility for the work they did. I am currently in the process of having the whole room replaced because the floor twisted, cupped and warped and it all had to be ripped out so that we could install it correctly. They wouldn’t even come out to my house to look at it until I called the office and spoke to the manager. Mark Sinex was awful to deal with. I would never recommend this company anyone. I wouldn’t even hire them to change a light bulb, let alone restore a home.

I so wish I could leave a 5 star review, that would mean our job was complete. We hired Paul Davis company for cleanup after river flooding. I gave 2 stars because the initial team worked hard on the debris removal and cleanup. However following them was the drying equipment. Fans/dehumidifiers were placed, one of the dehumidifiers appeared to be nonfunctional yet it was left running and not replaced. I hate that it was using all the power for nothing. Our contact person was barely responsive. He never communicated unless we contacted him. Perhaps they are short staffed? Finally we were told equipment to be removed Monday and the rest of the cleanup and disinfecting would be started Tuesday. No one came. They returned Tuesday and took out the equipment, we left access open for the team to continue Wednesday, but again no one came. By Thursday we just terminated them as we now have black mold growing on the untreated wood surfaces that were wet. I feel like if they had been more timely or at least communicated we would be ready to settle back in by now. As it stands at almost 4 weeks later we need to treat mold that was not taken care of and it has added weeks onto our POD unit rental we are using for storage. We thought we were working with an elite respected local company, and we are regretting our choice of Paul Davis company.
