I would give five stars to the gentleman that did the rebuild portion of the job & the original men that came out on the day of the damage. Two stars on the overall process because of the many delays. I feel your company has to many people inspecting and not enough workers.
I contacted Chris Mason at PC&R in June 2025 about engineering and architectural services as the result of a recent fire involving my building. Chris told me the charge would be $1,500. SE Mark Edge and Architect Doug Neal came with Chris in early July and told me they would take on the project and that they would be there the next day to take measurements. Despite being told by Chris that the price would be $1,500 I later found out that the actual contract price was approximately 5 times the quoted amount and only after numerous emails from me to Chris over several months did Mark and Doug come back for their measurements. Then Mark and Doug’s report was not provided to me until February. I identified report-related issues to Chris and he said that the issues were communicated to Mark and Doug but not one of them resolved the issues. I complained to Chris about the poor quality of service that I received and told him that I wanted to speak to the president of Panhandle but my request was never honored. Chris admitted that he “poorly handled” the work and subsequently resigned from Panhandle without first reassigning my project to another Panhandle employee. Likewise no one at Panhandle has reached out to me and some 11 months later I still have a report that that the local building inspector also has issues with and will not accept. It has been a horrible experience and neither Panhandle nor Mark or Doug are working with me to resolve the issues.
I had a carpet stain from a leaky fridge water line. The stain grew in size and got darker during the cleaning process!! The pre-treatment added to the stain did nothing to help, it actually made the stain worse. When I asked the technician about it they said sometimes that happens- sorry. I would think something else could have been attempted to make the stain better but they cleaned the rest of the area and left. I was not satisfied with the professional cleaning service.
We had an HVAC leak that necessitated a ceiling repair. Our ceilings are 22 feet so scaffolding needed to be built. The team was so careful, using appropriate containment systems, they cleaned up after themselves and completed excellent work per the estimate. Really great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend!
Panhandle responded quickly and compassionately during a difficult and emotional time for me. Everyone I worked with throughout the cleanup, salvage, and restoration processes was professional and courteous. I’m especially pleased with the quality of craftsmanship on the restoration team. They provided excellent floor installation, textured wall replacement, ceiling repair, wall prep and painting, stairway repair, and more. It was a comfort knowing that I was working with pleasant, trustworthy, competent people who were going to stand behind their work and their contract. I highly recommend Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration.
