On Nov 5th I was jolted awake by my car suddenly in my bedroom. There was an accident where my parked car was hit and pushed through my garage, porch and into my bedroom at 2am. With Winter approaching and the responsible party without insurance, it was on me to find a contractor to repair my home once my car was safely removed. I thought Panhandle just did cleanup after disasters but after looking at their website, I gave them a call. Out of all the contractors, they were the only one that were true to their times and work. They came the next day with a thorough estimate, explained the whole insurance requirements and did a fabulous job. I thought it would take months to fix all the damage but when they show up, they come prepared and they work. My home was completed within 3 weeks and would have been done sooner had the weather cooperated. Communication was so great each step of the way to ensure I was happy with the choices for my home. They were so respectful to me and my pets. I had a top notch crew and could not have been more pleased with everything. Panhandle made a terrible experience get repaired and allowed me to heal and move forward.
They rebuilt my basement bathroom after they had cleaned up a sewage issue. Had different workers on each part of job but was very happy with the work
We’ve used Panhandle Restoration multiple times, and every experience with Todd has been nothing short of exceptional. His crew—Ethan and Dakota—have also been fantastic. Their consistent professionalism, attention to detail, and positive attitude are exactly why we keep coming back. Most recently, they went above and beyond to make a difficult situation much easier for us. They worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and treated our property with the utmost care and respect. We highly recommend Panhandle Restoration for any emergency restoration needs—you won’t find a better team.
The initial advisor/salesperson was good as was the follow up visit to check on the work. The actual people conducting the clean up did a very good job although they seemed a little inexperienced or better put lacked the depth of knowledge. The issue comes with billing as even asking for an invoice three times (once via voicemail and twice via email) it took seven weeks to be billed. When the invoice was sent to me it lacked any detail just having a single line for the cost. Having a flooded basement, I would not have argued on price but I would have appreciated more transparency in pricing.
I hired Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration after my basement flooded during the rainy season, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The crew they sent did not come across as professional. While they were polite, their behavior and demeanor raised serious concerns—one worker seemed overly jittery and restless, while another was sluggish and barely responsive. Combined with how slowly and poorly they worked, it did not inspire confidence. Their job performance was unacceptable: they did a poor job vacuuming water and handling demolition of the damaged carpet, drywall, and flooring. In fact, the quality was so bad we asked them to stop halfway through the project. To make matters worse, on their last day here they backed a large truck into our muddy yard, got stuck, and dug deep ruts trying to free themselves. I ended up having to call and pay for a tow truck myself—something the company should have handled directly. Although the towing cost was eventually reimbursed, this never should have been my responsibility in the first place. The invoicing process was just as frustrating. The invoice had the wrong name, wrong address, and wrong ZIP code multiple times, and I had to call three or four times to get it corrected. When I finally pressed the issue, I was told it “shouldn’t matter” if the information was correct. That dismissive attitude is simply unacceptable. Accuracy matters, not only for my tax records but for the company’s own credibility. Between the questionable professionalism of the crew, the poor quality of work, and the frustrating customer service on the accounting side, I cannot recommend this company. Sometimes you should judge a book by its cover—and if you open it and the pages are just as bad, then it deserves to be judged even more. That’s what reviews are for.
