Prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and always easy to contact. I especially liked the fact that I didn’t have to be the middle man due to ODR working directly with the in adjuster and my insurance company. I had a pipe burst in a wall which damaged/ruined my entire first floor.

We had a burst hose in the kitchen which resulted in flooding that spread from kitchen to adjoining rooms and hallway. ODR was notified that night (Sunday) and had mitigation services going the next morning . After the area was dried thoroughly, the restoration was started. There was a comprehensive and accurate explanation of what would next occur and how ODR would interact with us and the insurance company. A project. manager was assigned and in that we could not have been more fortunate. Her name is Mari and she was fantastic throughout. She worked with us on some complicated adjustments to the project that we added midway and oversaw the entire restoration including contracting with craftsmen that were needed to complete the project. Communication with Mari was easy and forthright. There were no surprises and we were completely satisfied with the end result. We had a great experience with ODR.

I hired ODR to repair water damage from a faulty installed roof. After dealing with a very stressful roof install, I was hoping they would be able to do the $40,000 of water damage repairs with no stress especially after they knew what I had already been through. The whole house needed to be repainted except for 2 rooms. I asked what kind of paint they used, and I was told Sherwin Williams. Halfway through the painting I noticed the paint was a cheaper product, Valspar, not Sherwin Williams. It did not also help when I walked in one day to check on the painting process to find one of the painters using the arm of my couch as a ladder to paint. During the repairs it was a constant battle with my rep Nathan on what was covered by insurance. Many times, I had to refer back to the insurance documents to show what was to be repaired. After receiving my bill, I noticed many items were on there. but not repaired. These were items the insurance said needed to be done, but were not. When I brought these items up to Nathan he stated they need to make a profit somehow. I highlighted over $5,000 of the unfinished repairs to Nathan and asked for credit to my account, in which he did credit. Five months after the repairs were finished, I started seeing cracks in my bedroom ceiling where repairs had been by them before. I called Nathan to look at them. He came out and said to mark where the cracks were to see if they get bigger, which would mean something else was wrong. I was confused by this because ODR had done moisture testing before all of the work started and it was concluded that no moisture was in the bedroom ceiling. I called another painter out for a second opinion, and it was decided the caulking had failed and needed to be redone. I paid $1500 to have the repairs done which also included the game room and upstairs hallway by that time. I now have a split in the kitchen ceiling that I have now tried to get someone out to look at for a month. After some emails and one phone call returned by another rep, I now cannot get anyone to respond to my request to have someone look at the issue. It seems this company avoids holding up to their 1-year warranty of work and uses the cheapest products for repairs.

Please note that my background is owning a highly skilled, labor intensive, subcontracting firm. DO NOT LET THESE GUYS ENTER YOUR PROPERTY WITHOUT A FIRM QUOTE, OUR EXPERIENCE WITH AFTER THE FACT BILLING WAS DREADFUL. And I should have known better than to trust them as I did. Even when I pointed out they were on camera, we still had to fight with them over total hours billed, cost and number of fans left behind, and a variety of other 'mystery charges'. A firm front end quote would have stopped the ridiculous amount they billed. Even when confronted with evidence of overbilling, their response was to reduce it very slightly and try to justify their ridiculous labor and equipment charges. Don't make our error.
