Marathon Restoration

Our basement suffered severe water damage from a sewage backup during a storm and I couldn’t have been happier and more relieved with the job that Marathon did to remediate it. From my initial call they had a technician out same night even though I called at 9pm. JJ showed up and was super professional and kind and did a great job extracting the water and setting up dehumidifiers and fans to dry the space. Two days later (due to it being a holiday on Saturday) Jacob and his crew showed up and removed carpet, dry wall and cleaned and scrubbed the entire basement which put my wife and I at ease that the job was being done properly. Jacob and his crew were incredibly nice, professional and worked hard to get the job done all in one day. I can’t recommend this company enough and while I hope to never have to use them again they would be my first call in a heart beat.

Marathon Restoration was incredible after our finished basement flooded. They were communicative, responsive, and unbelievably fast — they had a 7-person crew at our house in less than 32 hours! From the start, it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. Instead of just ripping up walls, they took a thoughtful, strategic approach by removing framing and doors and drilling holes at the bottom of the walls, which helped save our drywall and will save us so much work in the future. They had a dumpster on a trailer on the back of a truck that was gone THAT DAY! They also set up huge fans and dehumidifiers for several days to make sure everything was thoroughly dried out, and they picked them up exactly when they said they would — something we really appreciated during such a chaotic time. Their communication and follow-through were excellent from beginning to end. What meant the most, though, was how compassionate and understanding the crew was during such a stressful situation. Several members of the team took the time to tell me how sorry they were that this happened to our home, and that kindness meant so much as we were coming to grips with the damage. They combined expertise with genuine care, and they made a very overwhelming process feel manageable and easy. I can’t recommend Marathon Restoration highly enough!

Called to get a "pump-out" after hard rain and melted snow flooded my basement. Their solution was to leave a $100 submersible pump that stopped working within 30 minutes. This resulted in a bill for $650.00. The water was only cleaned up after I called a plumber (who charged me less) cleared my blockage and I cleaned up the water with a shop vac and a mop.

We highly recommend Marathon Restoration, we had some water damage in the basement. Gino and his crew were out the next day to give us an assessment and a reasonable quote. They worked around our schedule to get the basement cleaned up and repaired.

No clue if this is a good company or not. But every dang morning their trucks and trailers are at the diesel pumps at Kwik Trip. No problem, everyone gets access to fuel. But they sit on their phones, maybe coworkers are inside getting monsters and glazers, but I'm at 18 minutes waiting for a pump and zero activity. Pull away from the pump please and let others through. I'll remove this review when I see improvement.
