Did not prep my flooring thus causing me major problems just two years later. I highly recommend you do NOT hire this company. There is NO situation available because you went to the flooring company and discussed this with them. They will not repair your flooring work. As for the warranty you should have completed the work promised and pay for.

My Wife, 4 kids and I are survivors of the 2024 Elkhorn EF4 tornado. Our house was destroyed and we dealt with Carlson Restoration when restoring our house. It took them way past deadline to get completed because they kept putting us on the back burner. We showed up on move-in day last July with a crew of movers and 2 trucks, just to be told the house wasn’t ready as it had failed another inspection. We had to move all of our things into storage units and stay in a hotel with our four kids for a whole month. We also had to find someone to care for our 2 dogs and 2 cats for that month which was not an easy task. Fast-forward here to over 2 years after the tornado and there is still leftover debris in the garage, driveway, laundry room and backyard which they are refusing to come clean up. After our insurance paid them the final bottom line bill that Carlson had provided for us and closed our case down, they came back to us and said there was an “accounting error” for $800. This was only after we asked them to fix some shotty work that they did (which is a common theme for Carlson) on our sink that ended up having to be completely replaced. We believe they added the “accounting error” in retaliation for having to come do more work after already being paid. They neglect our text messages for long periods of time. Their project manager Alek told my wife he has no problem being “petty” in the past. They even put a Lien on our house over this $800 “accounting error” that was their mistake, knowing insurance had already closed our case. Knowing that we are a one income household surviving paycheck to paycheck. Now they refuse to finish their work or clean up their mess, when this is all in result of their shotty work and “accounting error”. They also did not want us to seek out the help of a mediator named Blair Friedman who helps people avoid this exact situation which was another red flag. We are a hard-working family being taken advantage of by this big company over $800. We don’t have an extra $800 laying around to account for their poor work or accountants. 100% would not recommend this company to anyone. Would give negative stars if possible.

You have a female van driver who drives like a bat out of hell down the interstate. I lost track, counting the number of people she almost hit including me. Tailgating absolutely everyone in front of her and leaving no room for these people to maneuver. You should really get rid of her before she kills someone.She is a liability.

Carlson is awesome!! Al was our project manager. He was fantastic!! Very quick to call us back, very responsive to get someone out! John has also been great to work with! We would highly recommend!! Our house was hit by the 4/26 tornado. They handled all of the insurance stuff. They made our rebuild so easy!!

I had the pleasure of working with Carlson Restoration for the rebuilding of my basement due to sewage water backup. As you can imagine it was a very horrible event for us. I called Carlson to help with the rebuild once it was all cleaned up. My entire experience with the Project Coordinator Zach was incredible. The day I called Zach was sent out with the General Manager and they walked me through everything. I would recommend Zach and Carlson for any project. Super easy to work with and emphatic to our situation. Five Stars all around!!
