Our water softener broke at midnight and began hemorrhaging water which was pooling and spreading to other parts of the basement. Not knowing what to do, we Googled "water damage restoration" and the first company that appeared was Blackstone. We called immediately around midnight and the owner, Nate, answered the phone. He said: "I'll be there in 30 minutes". Nate arrived and went to work. He stayed until 2:00 am to get things under control. For the next several weeks Nate worked closely with us and our insurance adjuster on mitigating the damage. Nate handled everything for us; we didn't have to do anything. He brought in and coordinated with a tile removal and asbestors abatement firm, and with a carpet repair firm. He got us quotes, joined with us when we met those other firms, provided advice on how to proceed, and of course continued monitoring whether we had water under the carpet and floor tile. Nate was very neat, miticulous and careful in everything he did. He also submitted paperwork for us to the insurance carrier and handled the billing with the subcontractor firms just like a general contractor does, which Nate is licensed to do. Nate is incredibly organized, professional and dependable. He followed through on every single thing he said he would do and did so very promptly. His fees were right in line with industry standards which our insurance adjuster confirmed and reimbursed us for in full. I have no doubt Nate could run a $500 million dollar company: he's truly that good. And to think we found this guy and his company with one Google search at midnight with water pouring out of our softener, it was a miracle and such a stroke of luck. Obviously, I highly, highly, recommend using Nate and Blackstone if you ever need water mitigation services. He's got to be best-in-class in this industry.

Blackstone Restoration installed a drain tile and sump pump system in our home, after we had destructive and discouraging water damage to our finished basement. Nate followed through with everything as agreed, while maintaining excellent communication and attention to detail throughout.
