Bema Restoration

We had a flooded basement and BEMA came to the rescue! They were very easy to work with and coordinated well with our insurance company. The restoration looks great and we are so grateful for everyone on their team that helped us! 🙏🙏

I had a fire in my shop and worked with BEMA on the repairs. Insurance was a nightmare but Melanie at BEMA has been really good to work with. But really, I am writing this review because of the community work they do. MatSu had a hurricane level windstorm recently and there was a Active-Duty Air Force family that had part of their roof blown off. The service member was out of state for training, so I was trying to help the family mitigate the damage. I tried a few different ways to help and get them back in their home (work crew, volunteers, contractors, fund raising, insurance, etc.) but BEMA made this the easiest emergency repair I've been a part of. They gave us advice to initially get the house in a safe condition, then they worked with the family's insurance (which was a pain and didn't initially approve the work), and had a crew working on repairs the next day. As you can imagine they are very busy during and after a windstorm. They were still working on my repairs. But they were able to prioritize and fit this military family into their schedule. I have been away from my family during emergencies, and it is a very hard thing to deal with on multiple levels. It's hard for the family on the ground going through it. It is also hard for the service member to concentrate on their job of protecting all of us when their family is going through something traumatic. I am grateful that BEMA was able to give this family and Air Force member peace of mind during this trying time in their lives.

We came across BEMA by way of EXTENSIVE flood damage to our home. I hope others don’t have an incident like this (or some other calamity), but these things will always occur to some unfortunate soul. Should you have an event like this, you’d be absolutely blessed to have BEMA on your side. They handled everything professionally. Our contract was handled by Melanie, but everyone we dealt with, from the owners, to Fred (finish carpenter) on down to those pushing a broom, were friendly, helpful & competent. They even safeguarded some very valuable belongings that we’d misplaced. Our home is rebuilt better than it was, in great measure to BEMA.

Had an indoor flood 10 days ago here in Anchorage. It was beyond awful and I thought I would lose my home. Bema called me back that night--late on a Sunday--and offered to send people out ASAP. They have been at my place every day since the flood. They are the best contractors I've ever worked with. Extremely skilled, professional, knowledgeable about restoration work. They have every tool needed to do big jobs, and certified technicians for things like fire clean up, flood, etc. They communicate quickly and often. I always know what the next step is, what time they'll be at my house, etc. They communicate directly with the insurance company. They are compassionate about what I'm going through. I'm beyond impressed. If you ever experience a fire, flood, mold situation, death, or anything else--call Bema first.
