Our nightmare homeowner scenario was averted due to our neighbors and Ben with Balor Restoration. We were traveling out of the country when our neighbor discovered our backflow had burst and was filling our window well, and filtering into our basement. After shutting off the water, my neighbor called Ben (who has worked on her burst pipe nightmare just a few months ago). Ben was at our home within a couple of hours to set up a dehumidifier, fans, and take readings. He was able to mitigate any major damage with his speedy response, and even applied a spray to prevent mold. When we returned from our trip, he worked with us and gave us a fair price for the mitigation once we found out that the incident was not covered by insurance. Really upstanding service!
Can't say enough good things about Balor Restoration. We discovered mold in our bathroom and Ben came out to do a thorough mold inspection — he took a less-invasive approach than the other company we'd talked to, which we really appreciated. He clearly knows the industry standards inside and out. Throughout the remediation he kept us informed, documented everything for insurance, and left the space clean. For water damage restoration, mold remediation, or any kind of moisture issue in the Fort Collins area, Balor is the real deal. Professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.
I can barely put into words how promptly they responded to my call and the quality of the work. By quality, I mean how quickly they understood the issue and addressed it, how efficiently it was addressed, and the general demeanor of the workers, which was just excellent. I couldn't say anything better. The owner was extremely engaging and worked with us amazingly. Five stars.
