When our sump pump unexpectedly failed, we were left dealing with a stressful and overwhelming situation as water quickly began to accumulate in our basement. From the moment we reached out to this water restoration company, we knew we were in capable hands. Their responsiveness alone deserves five stars—they answered our call promptly and had a team at our home faster than we anticipated. What truly stood out was their professionalism and calm approach during what felt like a chaotic moment for us. They took the time to clearly explain the entire restoration process, what steps needed to be taken immediately, and how they would prevent further damage. There was no guesswork or confusion—they made everything easy to understand, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. The crew arrived fully equipped and got to work right away. They handled water extraction efficiently and used high-quality drying equipment to ensure that every affected area was thoroughly addressed. I appreciated how meticulous they were, checking not just the obvious wet areas but also inspecting for hidden moisture that could lead to future issues like mold. Beyond their technical expertise, their customer service was exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was courteous, respectful of our home, and genuinely empathetic to our situation. They kept us updated throughout the process and were always available to answer questions, no matter how small. By the time the job was completed, our basement looked and felt completely restored. You would never know there had been any water damage at all. It’s clear that this company takes pride in their work and truly cares about their customers. If you ever find yourself dealing with water damage from a sump pump failure or any other issue, I cannot recommend this team highly enough. Their speed, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference during a very stressful time.

After weeks of repeated follow-up and attempts to work with this company, I am at my wit's end. I simply cannot get them to communicate their intentions or deliver on their promises. It took them a week to schedule mitigation, then they rescheduled themselves from a Monday to a Tuesday without asking me if I could accommodate that with my work. When they did arrive (an hour later than they scheduled themselves), the staff that they sent had no idea as to the scope of work and how to obtain entry into my neighbor's garage, a plan which was arranged the week prior. There has been no communication as to when they will arrive to repair the hole in my wall that they cut out to assess the water damage, and despite multiple follow up attempts via phone and email from me and my insurance company, they just will not deliver any documentation like photos, water readings, or an estimate for the necessary repair work. Every time we follow up, it is, "We are working on that now and we'll get that to you as soon as possible." They appear to have provided excellent service to hundreds of people in NKY, so I am very confused why my case has been so awful. It's astounding that a company rated this high has dropped the ball this hard. As other reviewers have mentioned, working with Calvin and the actual process of water mitigation was great. They were respectful and communicative. However, Andrew and Rob really need to work on their communication and stop putting off whatever it is they are putting off. I recommend this company if you don't mind your repairs taking months and your insurance claim being at risk of suspension while you wait. Otherwise, they get a D- from me. Edit 4/2: If you'd like to see a bit of their professionalism and communication style, I've uploaded some texts I received from the owner, Rob, today. He is now holding the records of the water mitigation services his men completed hostage until I pay an undocumented invoice in full. Rob has not provided me any documentation about the services provided at all. I am not able to get this money from my insurance until I have the records. Me and my insurance company are literally trying to paying him. Edit 4/13: Rob provided records on April 7th and today, April 13th, has demanded up front pay of the invoice in full with the threat of a lien on my property and sending to collections. Edit 4/16: Rob has been paid. He is aggressive, condescending, and highly unprofessional. He threatened me and every insurance adjuster he was in contact with with collections and lawsuits, throwing temper tantrums until he got his way. He provided "records" of his work weeks after they were done, and it's clear that the records were made up as he went along, as they are overestimated and incomplete. The "contract" he threatened me about was never provided. The only thing I received was an unsigned work authorization where my name is spelled incorrectly. I was treated like dirt by this company and their disorganization, poor communication, and supbar documentation cost me $1,000 out of pocket for five square feet of drywall extraction. I pray you all never treat future customers the way you treated me. Good riddance.

Calvin's crew came out and they were like a machine! Our job ended up going much deeper than what we saw on the surface and they were totally up to the task! They were able to address every concern I had, and still are in the reconstruction of what was damaged. I'd say they don't leave you high and dry, but, in this case, high and dry is the goal! They also made sure to address my financial concerns, making sure to shoot a new quote for the extensive damage, before finishing, so I knew up front what we were dealing with. So many companies would just do it and surprise you with a bill way beyond the initial quote. They won't do that, no surprise "gotcha" here! 100% recommend!

Calvin came out the day we called for service and got equipment set up. He gave us lots of advice for the future and helped us navigate the insanity of a sewer backup in our basement. He took really good care of us and our home. He worked really hard. Thank you so much for your exceptional care of our home. The A+ team responded to my flooded basement in a lightning quick manner. Their speed in getting the water out was impressive. The materials that were ruined were disposed off quickly. Scientific methods were applied in the removal of moisture from the dry wall and baseboards. All in a friendly and painless manner. I highly reccommend them!
